Waterbath Heater
A water bath heater generates energy by immersing a process coil in a heated bath solution, which subsequently heats the process liquids and gases indirectly.
A big loss in pressure causes a significant drop in temperature in gas well heads and pipelines. If no preheating is provided, subzero temperatures are likely to occur. The production of ice and hydrates within the pipe can cause embrittlement of piping and fittings, as well as the potential for filter and regulator/valve seat blockage. As a result, heating using a Water Bath Heater is typically used prior to natural gas pressure reduction.
